Dan is a father of four, and saw the opportunity to help families impacted by autism through his professional career, working with some of the nation’s leading and most forward thinking operators providing care in schools, community centers and the home. Over the past three years, Dan has completed transactions that resulted in more than $1 billion of capital invested behind providers for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with the goal of ensuring quality care and growth opportunities for children and young adults. Dan graduated with honors distinction from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with an MBA and BS in Finance and Accounting.
Dan believes that Autism Communities, “Is incredibly important in opening the doors for young adults with autism to thrive and succeed in an environment that is singularly focused on them. Transitioning young adults to the next stages of their lives is such an unmet need, and families are seeking settings that allow for progression of what has set them apart in getting to that stage. All of the hard work, devotion and attention to these families and young adults is a necessity, and providing the setting to continue to advance skills, feel comfortable in their development, and create normalcy in their daily routine, is what makes working with the Autism Communities board and team, beyond impactful.“
